Who are we ?
gravure-printing.co.uk is operated by KSL Gravure Print Sales, the appointed Sales Agents for DC Thomson & Co.,Ltd. Printers and Publishers. Some years ago DC Thomson decided to outsource their Commercial Print Sales operation, and over that time we have introduced many clients to print in Dundee.
What do we do ?
Exactly what it says in the name. We print large volume print by the gravure process – the ideal print process for large volume printed products. Over the years we have printed for a wide range of commercial sectors. We have had tremendous success in the Mail Order, Travel and Retail markets, and during this time have printed for a whole host of well known companies.
The Plant located in Dundee houses two eight unit 1.9 metre Gravure presses, both fitted with in line stitching and trimming facilities. In addition to this we have extensive off line finishing equipment by way of Muller Martini saddle stitching and perfect binding facilities. This is backed up by automatic shrink wrapping and palletizing equipment.
We also have state of the art pre press facilities with on site proofing and engraving.

Over the next few pages we have listed the various size products and paginations which are suitable for us, from A5, A4 and A3 tabloid products, as well as some of the smaller page sizes which have now become very popular and show considerable paper cost savings.
